It`s an unusual love story too, between Rahul Bose, a punctilious police officer who quotes Jim Morrison while capturing criminals and Radhika Apte, a bright-eyed young journalist who is making waves with her investigations on a Nandigram kind of case. During the day, the twosome keeps busy, but late at night, they become cyber buddies, chatting through e-mail into the wee hours of the morning. Of course, they don`t know each other`s real identity, even though they manage to meet at a party through common friend, Aparna Sen. A strange situation arises when the cop and the journo begin to get close, both in real life and the cyber world and don`t know which relationship comes closest to love. Common friends, Aparna Sen and her estranged husband (Kalyan Ray) are hardly any help, since they seem to be grappling with their own emotional mess. Nor can Rahul`s aunt, Sharmila Tagore shed light on their dilemma, since she`s a singleton herself.
